Lucky
"You've got to be lucky to be good and you've got to be good to be lucky." Some people are generally luckier than others. We all know at least one person who can throw ten dollars in a VLT machine and come out with two hundred like clockwork. I am not one of those people. The only luck I seem to have is what I refer to as 'survivors' luck'. I can't roll dice or play cards or sit at a VLT machine and come away a winner no matter how long and hard I work at it, and I've worked on it pretty damn hard in the past. I DO seem to be able to walk away from dangerous and catastrophic situations though. I suppose all of my luck is reserved for saving my bony ass. From drowning, being hit by cars while biking, car wrecks, neck nearly broken (twice), nearly choking to death as a baby, and an odd assortment of other less savoury stories...
