<p><br>J</p> I've Been watching the 27/7 HBO Documentary series that follows two hockey teams for about a month during the middle of the regular season, and two things caught my attention almost immediately. 1) Their music selections were pretty rad, and the behind the scenes of hockey is interesting, and Im glad I watched it to get that insiders view.    This song is not on the Documentary, BUT its from a band that is.  M83 plays a song called Midnight City for the series which is very cool, but this song, Wait, is another of theirs that I enjoy.  Slow Crescendos = awesome!   Enjoy!

  Spent Christmas with the family yesterday, and it was a really good night. Spending time with all the nephews and nieces was a rare treat...    My eldest niece Bethany is a wizard with the piano and with my fumbling guitar skills, I quickly learned how to play the song along with her.  I'm thinking she has an amazing voice as well, and is almost ready for that next step.  She is also 14 and shyness is still a part of the equation too.   It was a real blessing to listen to her play, and so well, and to play with her... it was a special moment.   The same goes for my nephew Jordan, who is about to be 14 in 2 weeks. Playing guitar, and teaching him this past year, has been a rare privilege for me.     Making music has always been a simple and easy pleasure, but to be able to share that with my family is something else. Zammbro's Movember site for donating and general funmaking and chuckles   I have volunteered my face for a good cause. In support of Movember and Prostate Cancer, I am growing myself a silky stache of epic proportions... well, more like the pubic fur of a fifteen year old who doesn't recognize the need to shave his face yet...   Alas, I have been mocked, reviled, and haled as a hero... I'm thinking the Tom Selleck look will be my end game. Oooor Possibly the Ron Swanson?  I am open to votes! Tell me how I should look people.. and we will make this event happen!!!   I was asked a few years back if I wanted to be part of a music video for a day. I figured, what the hell, why not! I had just gone through some tough life stuff and a weird break up... I needed the change, and the song was apt. I still love this song, and its odd to see oneself like that hah! My friends are extremely talented and this band is worth checking out. One Blue Door.    Only music video I have ever done. Not the only acting I have done.... gotta love helping friends with film class work hah.. Unless you are on my Face Book friends list though, you wont be seeing THAT one. Its great.. but no one posted it to Youtube. Sorry all...   On an unrelated note... Went to my first Jets game... and it ... was... AWESOME!!!!  Had a client in today who is friends with one of the players.. Small world.. I dig it!
